We had an amazing stay at this hostel! the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even going the extra mile to assist with our needs during the Holy Week festivities. the room, although small, had all the facilities we needed and was clean and new. the hostel's location was superb, with easy access to historical sites, supermarkets, local markets, and various transportation options including Jeepneys and taxis. the free water refills and fast Wi-Fi were great bonuses. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast that kept us fuelled for our adventures!
We felt incredibly lucky during our stay at this hostel as we encountered no troubles whatsoever.

The hostel had a 24-hour front desk. because who knows when I might need assistance at 3am? And they served a continental, American or Asian breakfast. just in case I couldn't decide which continent to eat from.
I absolutely loved how the nearest airport was so conveniently located. because spending more time in traffic is just what I needed during my vacation.

The location was absolutely amazing, right in the heart of downtown! Walking distance to food and shopping places. The cleanliness of the room and the entire hotel was mind-blowing, so well-maintained. The staff, oh my goodness, they were super kind and helpful! The air conditioning was a life-saver, and having a fridge in the room was jaw-dropping. Plus, the hostel was surprisingly quiet, and being in a new building made it even better. The proximity to the bus stop was a huge bonus for a one night stay. And let's not forget the amazing amenities like free wi-fi, free parking, and an electric kettle. my stay was absolutely fantastic, can't recommend it enough!

The value for money at this hostel was great, especially considering how busy and unpleasant the city can be. The room was small but comfortable, with a nice private bathroom. The location was ideal, with popular attractions and central streets just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making my stay enjoyable.
Hotel breakfast could use improvement, with limited options and no vegan choice.

I recently stayed at a conveniently located hostel in downtown Cebu. The room was just right for two people and perfect for a comfortable rest after a long day of exploring. Although there was no elevator, the stairs provided a good exercise. While the wifi didn't reach our floor on the 3rd floor, having mobile data made up for it. The clean and well-maintained facilities, along with the kind and helpful staff, made our stay enjoyable.

We had a wonderful experience at Backpackers in Cebu. The staff, especially owner Ann, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to assist us, even providing information about mall opening times during Holy Week and even helping us cut our fruits for breakfast. The room, although small, had all the necessary facilities and was clean and new. The location was perfect, with historical sites, supermarkets, and local markets all within walking distance. , there were plenty of transportation options available, including Jeepneys to IT park and taxis to the North bus terminal, airport, and SM Seaside. The free water refill and fast WiFi were also appreciated. We were glad we made the last-minute decision to stay at Backpackers.
Honestly, there was nothing not to like about our stay.
